Hypnotherapy of arachnophobia?

The hypnotherapy have any effect on the mind when it comes to phobias? They are ridiculously arachnophobic, and I'm looking for a way to help myself. Here is the measure of my fear - I was sleeping downstairs for two days because there was a spider in my room, no one could find. Now they refuse to go in the room, and look at any other room I enter for spiders before going to them.

Phobias are very difficult to manage and hypnotherapy I am afraid will not help. Desensitization presents the best prospects for a care, yet the process is time and chance therapists are few and far between. Ask your family doctor if you are in your area.
