What do you know about hypnosis?

I would really love it to me for hypnosis to help me concentrate better in school. I start college next week. I know that if I go to a psychologist or anything else will just put me on drugs (or maybe not idk). I am very interested in hypnosis. Do you think hypnosis would really help me concentrate and become more motivated with my school work?

The truth is somewhere between the extremes of the 2 responses above. Hypnosis can help you focus. If you can not find a Hypnotist who is capable, not extravagant, and reasonable (the industry is totally unregulated, it could open a shop as a hypnotist now if you like), may be able to help you focus. Note that the practitioners of NLP tend to be true believers, and are often quite pleased. Hypnosis is not so dangerous, especially if you realize that it is just concentration and attention. Similarly, if you have any kind of problem because of not being able to focus, rather than simply being uninterested or moving at a pace faster than your peers, a psychologist would probably be the best way to go. Will not only be a good drug and we'll send your way. Of course, it might be good, and do not need to worry. Maybe getting some exercise before burning class a bit 'of energy and help you focus. Maybe you should take the classes more interesting, or rather to find teachers. I definitely look easy, inexpensive, self-directed answers before bringing in a professional manner.
