Have any of you heard of the gastric band under hypnosis?

I am NOT insane. It was featured in a newspaper recently. It is at a clinc based in Costa Del Sol. You go under hypnosis and you are hypnotised to believe you have actually had a gastric bypass operation. You then act and eat as if you have had that op. Do a web search.
My Mother in law is actually thinking of having this done.
