Why didn’t hypnosis therapy worked for me?

Tried hypnosis therapy to overcome an intense fear of public speaking. I went to a prominent practioneer in Los Angeles, figuring I needed to see the best. I went for six sessions $100 a session, however I have not gotten the expected result (I still freeze in front of people). I told the Hypnotist I have trouble visualization, but he still had me visualizing stuff ( like going down stairs). I did relaxed, but I honestly don’t know if I was hypnotized (I kept having random thoughts when I was supposedly under). Honestly, I felt like I wasted a lot of money and I am depressed.

Its not your fault – its the fault of the therapist you saw,he was inflexible in his behavior to get the result you wanted. Could you get your money back, six sessions seems a lot to me.
It also annoys me that you now feel worse about the whole thing, so I got to say it took courage to do what you have done, and that courage can make you a good public speaker, so please please believe in yourself.
There are good hypnotherapists out there who do a good job.
Public speaking is the number one biggest fear for people.
